As I was diagnosed, I was in college and fascinated by the new trait I had just received. It was a part of me and I was curious to find out what that meant for me. Rather than doing an internship, I wrote a senior thesis on Tourette Syndrome and how it affects communication.
Presenting my paper before my college professors, I was astounded by the response. They encouraged me to publish my work, which eventually became my first book. Having also been a bookworm for all my life, I was addicted to the process of writing and publishing. So this is just the beginning!
